Meet the Manager
Nithin Mathew is our Home Manager at The Boynes, here’s a little bit more about himself and the home in his own words:
“I started my journey at the Boynes Care Centre as a staff nurse, where I discovered the profound impact of compassionate care. Spending quality time with residents allowed me to appreciate the importance of building meaningful relationships and understanding their unique needs.
As I advanced to Deputy Manager, I had the privilege of collaborating with a talented team dedicated to providing exceptional care. Together, we embraced challenges and focused on delivering personalised support that truly enhances the quality of life for our residents.
Now, as Home Manager, I am excited to lead our committed team in creating a warm and nurturing environment. We prioritise getting to know each resident, ensuring their individuality is at the heart of our approach. By developing tailored care plans, we strive to meet the diverse needs and preferences of everyone in our home.
At The Boynes Care Centre, we believe that compassionate care goes beyond meeting physical needs; it’s about fostering a sense of belonging and ensuring that every resident feels valued and supported in a loving, homely atmosphere.”

Lauren Davis
Wellbeing Lead
My interest in the care industry began while studying Mental Health Practice at Gloucestershire University, where I ran art workshops for the elderly and those with disabilities. I’ve enjoyed working at The Boynes, where bringing joy to residents and their families makes my role incredibly fulfilling.

Claudia Lungu
Head Chef
I began my career as a kitchen assistant in 2019, learning from a fantastic head chef who inspired me. Today, I’m the head chef and, while the role is demanding, I take pride in my achievements and find great joy in what I do.
