Meet the Manager
Isabel Nyirenda is our Home Manager at Cedar View, here’s a little bit more about herself and the home in her own words:
“I have been working in healthcare for many years, both in the NHS and the private sector. I qualified as a Registered General Nurse in 1993 and have since acquired extensive experience across various fields of nursing, including critical care, geriatrics, and community health. Throughout my career, my philosophy has remained very simple: “Treat others as you would like to be treated.” This principle guides my interactions with patients, families, and colleagues, ensuring that compassion and respect are at the forefront of our care.
I lead a dedicated team that embraces a holistic approach to deliver person-centred care, tailoring our services to meet the individual needs of each resident. While pictures in the brochure can speak a thousand words, I always recommend a visit to the home for a true understanding of our environment. Seeing the space for yourself and having the opportunity to engage in conversation with team members, residents, or visiting relatives allows you to truly appreciate the warm and welcoming atmosphere we strive to create every day.”
