This year’s Red Nose Day theme, “Do something funny for money,” inspired a week of fun, laughter, and generosity here at Holmwood Care Centre. Our fundraising efforts kicked off in style with a lively afternoon of fancy dress and a wonderful singing performance by Melissa, whose beautiful voice had everyone smiling from ear to ear.
The atmosphere was electric as residents, staff, and visitors embraced the spirit of the day. The sight of everyone in their playful costumes—complete with iconic red noses—brought endless joy and more than a few hearty laughs. Melissa’s performance was the perfect accompaniment, creating a sense of togetherness and celebration that lifted everyone’s spirits.
But the fun doesn’t stop there! We have a full week of activities planned, each designed to raise funds for this fantastic cause while bringing happiness and entertainment to our residents. From bake sales to comedy skits and more, there’s something for everyone to enjoy as we continue to support the amazing work done by Red Nose Day.
