Priory Court Care Home has been bustling with the festive spirit as residents, staff, and visitors embraced the magic of Christmas together. The day began with a delightful visit from the children of Auriol Junior School, who arrived laden with hampers of thoughtful gifts and hand-crafted Christmas cards – one for every resident. Their kindness and creativity touched everyone’s hearts, spreading warmth and happiness throughout the home.
The festive celebrations continued as the talented children from Ewell Grove School brought the sound of Christmas alive with a wonderful carol performance. Their beautiful voices filled the halls, and residents couldn’t resist singing along, creating a truly joyful atmosphere. Laughter, music, and camaraderie made the moment unforgettable.
In the afternoon, the festivities reached new heights with a sparkling “White Christmas” performance by The Entertainment Providers. Megan, the star of the show, captivated everyone with her renditions of Christmas classics, channeling the charm of Marilyn Monroe and the smooth melodies of Michael Bublé. It was an interactive performance that had residents clapping, singing, and brimming with holiday cheer.
And the celebrations don’t stop there! The excitement continues tomorrow with a Christmas Pantomime and another visit from young guests ready to share their seasonal joy.
