Scoonie House care home in Leven were joined by the children of Balcurvie Nursery for a Red Nose Day celebration to remember with a creative arts and crafts challenge. The children eagerly teamed up with residents for the paper chain challenge, aiming to create a colourful chain of 1000 paper chain links. Everyone had a lovely time working side by side, focused on the challenge ahead while chatting and laughing away. In the end, they surpassed their goal and made a stunning chain of 1300 links. Together, they proudly displayed their work in the dining room, adding a lovely personal touch to the room’s decorations.

The children had lots of fun working together, learning about persistence and teamwork to achieve a goal. Residents cherished the opportunity to connect with the children, whose visits always bring a special kind of joy. Resident, Elsie, summed up the day perfectly: “There’s nothing like a visit from children to brighten everyone’s day!”
