To mark World Art Day, the wellbeing team at Scoonie House Care Home in Leven gave residents a fresh way to get creative, with a unqiue arts and crafts session.
The group took part in foam spraying, painting, and decorating sculptures – a first-time experience for many. The session was filled with laughter and plenty of messy hands, as residents embraced the chance to try something new.
It sparked a sense of nostalgia too, with resident Robina sharing, “It takes me back to painting with my kids.”
Art and craft activities are a regular feature at Scoonie House, but this event stood out for its playful, hands-on approach. Each resident created a unique piece to be proudly displayed for visiting family and friends.
