Last weekend, Coppice Lea Care Home in Merstham was full of Easter cheer, with plenty of festive fun for residents and team members alike. The highlight of the day was a surprise visit from the Easter Bunny—activities coordinator Ashley dressed for the occasion and made her way around the home, handing out Easter eggs and sharing smiles with everyone she met.
The celebrations also included an Easter egg hunt, which brought out some friendly competition and lots of laughter. Residents were treated to a wonderful performance by singer Debby, whose music added to the joyful atmosphere throughout the home.
In the kitchen, head chef Soumia worked her magic, baking a delicious selection of Easter muffins and traditional hot cross buns that went down a treat.
To top off the day, there was a special Easter hamper giveaway. Everyone had the chance to nominate someone to win, and the Easter Bunny drew the lucky ticket—congratulations to Geraldine, the home’s administrator, who took home the prize.
It was a lovely day all round, with plenty of smiles, treats and festive spirit shared by all.
