Beechwood Park brings the community together for Easter

Beechwood Park Care Home in Alloa was full of community spirit this Easter, as residents, families, team members and local supporters came together to make it a memorable occasion.

In the lead-up to the big day, residents got creative in an arts and crafts session led by Creative Mojo, a brilliant organisation that helps bring out the artistic side in everyone. Together, they made their own Easter decorations, adding a lovely personal touch to the home and setting the scene for the celebrations.

The Easter event itself was a true community affair. Relatives and local businesses generously donated prizes for the raffle, and the Sauchie Community Choir visited to perform a selection of festive songs. Residents were given lyric sheets so they could sing along, which they thoroughly enjoyed.

Adding to the fun, Home Manager Marek caused plenty of laughter by donning a hilarious costume—dressed as a man riding a giant chick, much to the amusement of everyone at the home.

The day also included a raffle and tombola fundraiser, with all proceeds going towards future events and activities for residents. The Beechwood Park community was proud to raise an impressive £280.

It was a joyful celebration, made even more special by the warmth and support of everyone involved.
