Belmont House Nursing Home in Sutton was filled with Irish cheer as residents, relatives, and team members came together to celebrate St Patrick’s Day.
The highlight of the afternoon was a lively performance by the talented dancers from Ni Cholmain Academy of Irish Dance. Their dazzling footwork and infectious energy had everyone tapping their feet and clapping along.
After the show, residents tucked into a traditional Irish feast of hearty beef stew with cabbage and boiled potatoes, washed down with a smooth pint of Guinness. The room buzzed with laughter and conversation as residents shared stories of their Irish heritage with the dancers, recalling family traditions and childhood memories of the Emerald Isle.
It was a day filled with music, laughter, and plenty of smiles – a true celebration of Irish spirit that left everyone feeling a little greener at heart.
