Recently, residents of Coxhill Manor, Rob and Irene, were invited to a special afternoon tea with the Mayor of Surrey Heath, Cllr Sarbie Kang, at her offices in Camberley. The invitation, given as a wedding anniversary gift, followed a previous visit by the Mayor to Rob and Irene’s anniversary celebrations at Coxhill, and a surprise visit on Christmas Day with her daughter.

Accompanied by Manager Sudhir and Sarah from the wellbeing team, Rob and Irene enjoyed a tour of the Mayor’s offices and chambers. They were joined by Deputy Mayor Louise Ashbery and Civic Support and Event Officer Helen Essen, who made them feel warmly welcomed.

The afternoon included a lovely tea with much chatting and laughter, and Rob and Irene even posed for pictures sitting at the Mayor’s official desk. The afternoon was a wonderful chance for the couple to experience something new while building meaningful friendships.

A big thank you to the Mayor for such a heartfelt gesture, creating lasting memories for Rob and Irene!
