Residents and their families, including great great grandchildren at East Hill House Care Home took part in a countrywide afternoon tea to celebrate the launch of the new Aria Care Group. Everyone enjoyed an afternoon tea on Tuesday 14th March, as all homes across the Group marked the occasion.
Aria Care Group has 50 homes in total across England, Scotland and Jersey, which all took part in the afternoon tea celebrations.
We enjoyed a tea party style buffet, prepared by our Chef Angela, She worked really hard on the build-up to the party and the food certainly did show this. We received many compliments on Angela’s wonderful spread!
Those who attended were entertained by the lovely Alice Rees. She was absolutely fantastic and got people really in the mood for a party. She sang old war time songs, some classics and songs from musicals.
Our team, residents and their families were joined by guests from the local dementia choir and dementia friends’ groups that we attend.
