Recently at Ferfoot Care Home in Chippenham, the team and residents had a special visit from Owl Adventures.
Lydia from Owl Adventures brought along a variety of birds, including an Indian scops owl, a Barn owl, an Eurasian eagle-owl, and a Harris hawk.
Residents had the chance to interact with the owls, stroking them and watching as some of the birds flew and were fed. The visit sparked a lot of curiosity, with the residents asking lots of questions about the birds.
Home Manager Roxana said, “It was amazing to witness the beautiful birds flying around, and the residents’ reactions were truly heartwarming.”
Resident Marion said, “They were such beautiful birds.”
