Our care home in Croydon, Albany Lodge Nursing Home, is spacious and modern. As part of our purpose-built facilities, we have 100 en-suite wet rooms with personal showers, allowing each of our residents to feel comfortable and to have all their needs met. We offer exceptional dementia care, residential care, nursing care, and respite care, providing the level of support that you require.
Our long-standing team will build a connection with you, helping you to flourish during this new stage in your life. Albany Lodge Nursing Home, has an in-house catering team dedicated to meeting each and every resident’s dietary requirements. Menus are prepared in consultation with our residents and cooked from scratch every day using only the best quality and seasonal ingredients. There are two options at least, every mealtime and alternatives will always be available to suit requests.

Sarah Tucker is our Home Manager at Albany Lodge, here’s a little bit more about herself and the home in her own words:
“With 16 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, I have worked in various settings, including hospitals, community health, and social care. Caring has always been my passion, and I find joy in making a positive difference in people’s lives. Over the years, I have developed a deep understanding of individual needs, which shapes my approach to care.
As a Care Home Manager and Regional Support Manager, I focus on providing personalised, person-centred care for our residents. I am dedicated to building strong relationships with staff, families, and stakeholders, as collaboration is essential for delivering exceptional care. Inspiring others and fostering a supportive culture within our team is important to me.

Deputy Manager
I’m a qualified nurse with experience as a Deputy Manager and Clinical Lead in care homes and NHS A&E. My passion for elderly and dementia care stems from my mother’s influence and personal experiences with my grandfather’s Lewy Body Dementia, driving me to provide high-quality, person-centred care at Albany Lodge.

Lea Bridgen
Receptionist
I’m Lea, the receptionist at Albany Lodge Nursing Home. I started my career as a healthcare assistant and worked my way up through roles like carer and activities coordinator. I find great fulfilment in my current position, surrounded by a supportive and friendly team each day.

Adam Huxley
Head Chef
I find joy in creating and presenting delightful dishes for our residents. Their enjoyment brings me immense satisfaction. I believe meal presentation is vital for their health and well-being. Knowing I can contribute positively to their lives makes me proud, and I can confidently say I love my job!
