Brook House Care Home is located in the historic market town of Towcester, just a short drive west of Northampton. Our community offers the very best for those needing that extra bit of support in later life, as well as those to live well with dementia.
Awarded ‘Best for Innovation and Environment’ at the prestigious Pinders Healthcare Design Awards, life at Brook House begins with a warm welcome the minute you walk through the door into the bistro and lounge. This stunning purpose-built home features a hair salon and barbers, cinema, private dining room, as well as a library and music room. There are comfortable lounges for relaxation and entertainment, and plenty of spaces to receive visiting family and friends. Our beautiful accessible patio gardens enjoy a lovely sunny aspect, and for those keen to venture out there are regular trips to the local shops, cafés and nearby places of interest.

Rhiannon is our Home Manager at Brook House Care Home, here’s a little bit more about herself and the home in her own words:
“One of the best things about my job is knowing that our residents are living their best life, seeing their smiles, and knowing we are looking after them.
I strive for continuous improvement and like to be hands-on and involved in the day-to-day care. I maintain good communication with my team, residents and families and feel that it is important to get to know everyone. I also like to have good community engagement, as it is important that our home is part of our local community.
Everything we do at Brook House is from the heart and it is not a job, but a passion. We are building a home together – team and residents.
There is always a lot going on in the area that we can get involved in. If you’d like to see our home please do get in touch, I would love to show you around.”

Random Act of Kindness Day -
Today at Brook House, our Deputy Manager Gemma and our new Customer Relations Manager Sharon took to the streets of Towcester with a mission to spread kindness! This week it was our wonderful Senior Carer Mel’s birthday , we are so glad she was able to enjoy some time off and to spend quality time with her husband Florin. We just wanted to take a moment to thank Mel for all the hard work, dedication, and care she brings to her role since she joined us.

Loneliness affects so many older adults, with a third of over-70s eating alone every day. That’s why Brook House Care Home in Towcester has launched Spare Chair Sunday, a unique initiative to bring people together over a homecooked Sunday lunch.
Every fortnight, guests who live alone are welcomed with open arms, provided with transport, entertainment, and great company. And for those leaving early, a lovingly prepared tea box ensures the warmth lasts beyond the visit.
Spare Chair Sunday launched in October with a fantastic 60s-themed celebration, and the residents and team can’t wait to open their doors for more Sundays filled with laughter, connection, and community spirit.

Wow, launched last October? First I have heard about it.
I think the spare chair venture is wonderful. Someone very close to my heart,who would of been lonely and isolated on an extremely difficult day due to loss got invited for Christmas day,it changed her day completely, was shown so much compassion,empathy and felt such warmth. It made a huge difference to her day and still talks about it now. Thank u to the amazing Brook house family xxx
This offers the wider community a chance of companionship and socialisation when they need it most I think it’s fantastic and we will welcome them with open arms and welcome them to Brook House with all our hearts ♥️ xxx
Brook House Kicked off the week in style at the last night of the Proms at the Brooklands Suite in Whittlebury Park last night where we attended with some of our residents. 🎶 What a fantastic range of music we were treated to! From classical pieces to modern tunes, the performances by #sponneschoolorchestra and #kidlingtonconcertbrass had something for everyone. The atmosphere was electric, and ending with Jerusalem and Land of Hope and Glory was the perfect touch. A brilliant night at the Brooklands Suite! 🎶👏#lastnightoftheproms #MusicMagic #whittleburypark
