Moving to Hamilton Nursing Home, our residents experience a new life in a beautiful Victorian property that is surrounded by peaceful landscaped gardens. Our team at the nursing home is dedicated to providing our residents with care that is of the highest standard, We can provide care in any capacity, whether this is respite care, nursing care, residential care, or care for residents living with dementia. We have a total of 38 individual rooms for our residents at our residential home, who can benefit from care around-the-clock and access to our excellent facilities.

At Hamilton Nursing Home, residents take part in enriching daily activities and have access to welcoming spaces for relaxation or hosting family and friends. We cultivate a sense of community, ensuring that everyone feels comfortable and encouraged to engage in activities that bring meaning and connection.

We focus on promoting self-esteem and ensuring that residents always have a choice, building independence and ensuring they have the necessary support to enable them to nurture current and future interests. Our activity and social programmes are created to reflect the passions and interests of our residents. With a variety of pursuits readily on offer each week including physical activities, cognitive stimulation, creative pursuits, social events, and on occasion trips and excursions – designed to enrich life and make each day meaningful.

We believe that food is one of life’s greatest pleasures – mealtimes matter to our residents and to us. Hamilton Nursing Home has an in-house catering team dedicated to meeting each and every resident’s dietary requirements. Menus are prepared in consultation with our residents and cooked from scratch every day using only the best quality and seasonal ingredients. There are two options at least, every mealtime and alternatives will always be available to suit requests.

Andrea Day is our Home Manager at Hamilton Nursing Home, here’s a little bit more about herself and the home in her own words:

“I have been part of the Hamilton team since 2003, and from the moment I joined, it became clear that this was the right environment for me. I quickly developed a deep passion for building strong relationships with residents and their families. I feel fortunate to have been given the opportunity to grow within the organisation and am proud to be the Registered Manager.

I am privileged to work with a dedicated and compassionate team who share my commitment to delivering the highest standard of person-centred care. Together, we create an environment filled with music, laughter, and meaningful moments, making each day truly rewarding.

Hamilton is a place where both residents and staff feel valued and supported. I am incredibly proud to work in such a successful home, with Good and Outstanding CQC ratings and strong links with the local community. It is an honour to be part of a team that provides exceptional care, ensuring that every resident receives the attention they deserve.”

Peter Tongco

Deputy Manager

As Deputy Manager at Hamilton Nursing Home, I ensure compliance with regulatory standards, policies, and procedures. I facilitate communication and collaboration amongst colleagues, residents, and families. I also participate in clinical audits, training, and mentoring to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality care to our residents and their families.

Evelyn Sanusi

Administrator

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology and have over 15 years of experience as an HR Generalist in various industries. Transitioning into the care sector, I enjoy working with the Hamilton team to provide exceptional care and services for our residents and their families.

Georgina Sharp

Wellbeing Lead

My role involves organising activities to keep our residents engaged and planning social events. I take pride in helping them stay physically and mentally active, and I truly enjoy seeing the smiles on their faces.
