Kings Lodge Nursing Home is a well-established care home in Chichester. As a purpose-built building, our residents benefit from a beautiful home that sits on the edge of Chichester Harbour in Bosham. We provide exceptional, personalised care designed to meet your unique needs, helping you maintain the independence crucial for a fulfilling life. With 77 spacious rooms for our residents to enjoy, including personal showers, residents have access to high-quality facilities as well as 24-hour care. We pride ourselves on having modern facilities and technology in order to offer our residents the best care possible.

Kings Lodge offers numerous amenities for residents, including a bar, activity area, luxurious lounges, and bright dining spaces on each floor. Outside, a landscaped garden is enjoyed by residents and their families during warmer days.

We focus on promoting self-esteem and ensuring that residents always have a choice, building independence and ensuring they have the necessary support to enable them to nurture current and future interests. Our activity and social programmes are created to reflect the passions and interests of our residents. With a variety of pursuits readily on offer each week including physical activities, cognitive stimulation, creative pursuits, social events, and on occasion trips and excursions – designed to enrich life and make each day meaningful.

We believe that food is one of life’s greatest pleasures – mealtimes matter to our residents and to us. Kings Lodge Nursing Home has an in-house catering team dedicated to meeting each and every resident’s dietary requirements. Menus are prepared in consultation with our residents and cooked from scratch every day using only the best quality and seasonal ingredients. There are two options at least, every mealtime and alternatives will always be available to suit requests.

Sajila Mano is our Home Manager at Kings Lodge Nursing Home, here’s a little bit more about herself and the home in her own words:

“I’ve been working at Kings Lodge since 2013, beginning as a qualified nurse before progressing to Head of Care, Deputy Manager, and most recently, Home Manager. Throughout my time here, I’ve been privileged to work alongside a dedicated team who share the same goal: providing exceptional care to our residents.

My role also involves overseeing the training and development of our staff, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to deliver the highest standard of care. This ongoing professional development is key to maintaining the quality of support we offer.

I’ve built strong professional relationships with multidisciplinary teams, including GPs and community matrons, which enables us to deliver well-rounded, effective care to our residents. These collaborations play an essential role in ensuring that our home runs smoothly, and that residents’ health and well-being are always prioritised.

At Kings Lodge, care is at the heart of everything we do, and I am committed to ensuring our residents feel supported and valued.”

I am proud to be part of Kings Lodge Nursing Home, leading a dedicated care team to ensure our residents’ happiness. I assist the Home Manager by conducting care assessments and collaborating closely with healthcare professionals to maintain high standards of care throughout the home.
