Walstead Place Care Home is a 17th Century Manor House, in a rural setting, near the village of Lindfield, West Sussex. The main feature is the extensive gardens which are kept pristine by our full-time Gardener, Jack. We pride ourselves on being homely and comforting, most people that visit say, “it doesn’t feel or look like a care home but more a home-from-home.”

No two days are ever the same at Walstead Place. We are connected, passionate, organised, and resourceful. We cry, we laugh, we embrace people’s lives and do our best to enrich the lives of our residents on a daily basis.

What does care from the heart mean to the team at Walstead Place?
“A community can mean a lot of different things, to a lot of people, but fundamentally, it’s about the relationships we build and the social units we interact and communicate with. At Walstead, we are a team – friends, family, groups, teachers, mentors and much more. Our common interests are that we are all here for the residents, to make each day they have an amazing one. We do this because we care deeply from the bottom of our hearts to ensure we enrich the lives of our residents in every way.
