Birthday celebrations at Galsworthy House

Last week, the team at Galsworthy House Nursing Home in Kingston-upon-Thames was busy celebrating four residents’ birthdays.

The celebrations began on 1st March for residents David and Shirley, who share the same birthday. David, a former architect, has written a couple of books on architecture and has two daughters. Shirley, who has five children (four girls and one boy), loves a crossword book, enjoys a peaceful life, and black coffee.

On 2nd March, it was Brenda’s turn to celebrate. Brenda is married to Len, who visits her every day. She has a daughter called Sue and is also a grandmother and great-grandmother. Brenda loves getting her nails done.

The following day, 3rd March, it was Sue’s birthday. Sue and her husband Adrian have been married for over 60 years and have two children, Nikki and Rupert. Sue enjoys socialising with her friends and family, and her favourite weekly activity is bingo.

For each of their birthdays, the residents received a delicious, personalised cake, the team sang ‘Happy Birthday’ and they enjoyed celebrating with their friends and family.
