Last week, the residents at Garth House Care Home in Dorking enjoyed a visit from Violet, a 2-year-old Dachshund therapy dog.
Tiffany from Kids Critters Ltd visited the home for their monthly animal-assisted therapy session, and this time, Violet was their special guest. In the past, they’ve had tortoises, lizards, snakes, dogs, and bearded dragons join them.
Health and Wellbeing Coordinator Nergiz said, “We had a wonderful time with Tiffany and Violet. The residents and family members enjoyed cuddles with Violet, sharing lovely memories and laughter.”
Resident Alun said, “It was a lovely surprise to spend time with Violet, I loved it.”
