Last month, the team and residents at Garth House Care Home in Dorking came together to celebrate resident Pam’s 88th birthday.
Born on 28th January 1937, Pam loves to spend time with her loved ones and is known for her love of singing and parties.
During the war, she was evacuated to Wales, a place that holds special memories for her. After the war, she moved to Reigate in Surrey before settling in Brockham, Surrey, where she later married.
Pam has always been passionate about arts and crafts, particularly knitting, crocheting, card-making, and creating jewellery.
A heartwarming occasion for a special lady, the residents and team enjoyed a fun-filled party, complete with songs, games, and a delicious birthday cake.
Pam said, “I thoroughly enjoyed my party, thank you to everyone who joined me to celebrate.”
