Yesterday, the residents and team at Garth House Care Home in Dorking celebrated Valentine’s Day by hosting a party with friends, relatives, and the local community.
The event was made even more special by a performance from talented tenor singer Harry Kersley. An afternoon full of fun, everyone sang along and danced to timeless classics by Frank Sinatra and Elvis Presley.
In keeping with the ‘love’ theme, Head Chef Kat impressed everyone with her heart-shaped biscuits and red cupcakes, along with a variety of hot and cold beverages.
Resident Christopher said, ‘It was such a surprise to meet Harry Kersley in person and sing with him.’
Resident Jill said, “It was a lovely party, I enjoyed listening to Harry’s singing.”
