Throughout February our communities took part in our Heartfelt Moments campaign and the team at Gildawood Court in Nuneaton have shared their favourite moments captured with the stories behind them. The campaign was all about celebrating the meaningful connections and moments that make our communities feel like home. Here are their standout moments from the month including a trip to the local pub for one resident, Valentine’s Day celebrations and new friendships blossoming…
Pamper Time
We setup a nail bar so the ladies could come along and have a full treatment getting their nails done and choosing out what colour they wanted whilst enjoying a good natter together!
Pet Therapy Visit
Our beautiful therapy dog Skye came along for a visit and our residents always love having a cuddle with her and she enjoys being made a fuss of / being centre of attention
Birthday Celebrations!
Birthday celebrations for our resident Joan and her family came along to visit her, we also had Graham the sheep come for a visit, Joan was given a carrot to feed Graham but decided to eat it herself!! Her son found it so funny!
Love is in the Air
Our residents celebrated Valentines Day with a brunch with their loved ones and Julie our resident enjoyed it with her daughter, a very touching moment
Friendships Blossoming
It is wonderful to see new friendships developing at Gildawood – these two really care for one another

Our resident John took the opportunity to go out to the local pub and enjoy a good pint!
