Heffle Court get creative for Christmas Crib Festival

Residents at Heffle Court Care Home in Heathfield recently came together to create a Nativity Crib scene for the annual Crib Festival at St. Richard’s Church, working on a wonderful project that involved designing and crafting a stable, as well as decorating key characters from the Nativity story.

The Heffle Court team and residents worked together in festive arts and crafts sessions to create their very own crib after gathering items from local charity shops and collecting craft supplies to bring the homemade Nativity to life.

St. Richard’s Church kindly invited the home to take part in their festival, where local residents and businesses from around Heathfield contribute their own versions of the Nativity scene to be displayed and enjoyed by the community as part of their Christmas celebrations.

It was a heartwarming and collaborative effort, and residents were so excited to share their creation with the community. The project provided a lovely opportunity for everyone to reminisce about their own Christmas experiences, share their favourite traditions, and reflect on how Christmas has changed over the years.
