With summer just around the corner, it’s the perfect time to roll up our sleeves and get gardening. At Aria Care, we believe in the power of teamwork, which is why we kicked off our Spring into Summer initiative this May with a ‘One Team Approach’ to prepare for the sunny months ahead.
The team and residents at Hillview Court Care Home are incredibly proud of their home, and those with a green thumb had a wonderful time taking part in our Aria in Bloom event.
On the day, everyone worked together to enhance the garden. Residents planted flowers in pots, cleaned and painted benches and seating areas, and even sowed tomatoes and vegetables in the greenhouse. The day was topped off by crafting a scarecrow to stand guard over the garden!
We want to thank our amazing volunteers, all the residents who helped, and our dedicated team for their hard work and enthusiasm during Aria in Bloom. It was a fantastic day of teamwork, and the results speak for themselves!
Aria in Bloom will become a yearly activity that everyone across the company will get involved with, helping our homes prepare for the warmer days ahead. Our residents will then be able to enjoy their outdoor spaces and give them and their visitors a beautiful space to unwind.
