As the weather warms up, there’s no better time to embrace the outdoors and get gardening! At Aria Care, we value the strength of teamwork, which is why we introduced our Spring into Summer initiative this May with a One Team Approach. We know that first impressions matter, so our teams came together to prepare for the summer season.
The dedicated team and green-thumbed residents of Ivy Court Care Home take great pride in their home and had a fantastic time participating in our Aria in Bloom project.
Diana and Chloe from our Activities Team put in tremendous effort to coordinate both staff and volunteers. Together, we refreshed the garden by cleaning and painting benches, planting vibrant flowers along the borders, and adding colourful hanging baskets. One of our team members even installed a brand-new garden clock.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to our incredible volunteers from the local Methodist church, supportive family members, and James, our Hospitality Director, for their help in making Aria in Bloom a success.
This initiative will now be an annual tradition, ensuring all our homes are ready for the sunshine. It’s a wonderful way to create inviting outdoor spaces where residents and their visitors can relax and enjoy the beauty of nature.
