With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, residents at Kingsclear Care Home in Camberley put their artistic talents to the test in a fun and creative Valentine’s card-making contest. The winning design will be printed and shared with family, friends, and the local community on Valentine’s Day to spread the love in a personal and meaningful way.
Using paint, stickers and plenty of imagination, residents crafted cards with care, each one reflecting their unique personalities and connections to loved ones.
Resident, Elaine was delighted to be announced as the winner of the contest and joked, “Oh, did I? I thought I’d win!”
As part of her prize, Elaine received a beautiful bunch of flowers and a selection of her favorite biscuits, which she happily shared with her fellow residents. In a loving gesture fitting for Valentine’s Day, she gifted the flowers to her granddaughter Sienna.
