Knowle Park Nursing Home are almost summer-ready

Knowle Park in Bloom 2023

It’s a great time to focus on the garden, as we head to the middle of the year, and at Aria Care, we believe in the power of collaboration. That’s why we introduced our Spring into Summer initiative this May with a ‘One Team Approach.’ Understanding the importance of creating a welcoming environment, we gathered our teams to work together and ensure everything is ready for the months ahead.

The residents and team at Knowle Park Nursing Home in Cranleigh were joined by students from the local Cranleigh school as they took part in Aria in Bloom as everyone worked together in the garden to make it summer ready.

Everyone rolled up their sleeves as they took on the project in their gardens, including putting up a new gazebo and installing patio lanterns as well as solar lighting. The residents then also worked with the students to plant a range of vegetables and herbs as well as beautiful flowers in their pots, hanging baskets and flower beds.

The residents are looking forward to watching the vegetables and flowers grow over the coming summer months as they enjoy time outside.

Aria in Bloom will become an annual event, with everyone across the company coming together to help prepare our homes for the months ahead. This initiative will provide our residents with inviting outdoor spaces to enjoy, offering a peaceful retreat for them and their visitors to relax and unwind.
