Miranda House colleagues honoured at RWB Civic Awards

Two dedicated members of Miranda House Care Home in Royal Wootton Bassett were recognised at the prestigious Royal Wootton Bassett (RWB) Civic Awards, held on Friday 28th March, for their exceptional contributions to the well-being of residents.

Lorraine Hilder, Wellbeing Lead, and Gwen Major, Activities Volunteer, were acknowledged for their outstanding commitment to enhancing the lives residents. Their dedication to providing a vibrant and engaging environment within the home was celebrated by the local community.

Each year, the Royal Wootton Bassett Town Council hosts a Civic Award Evening to honour individuals, businesses, community groups, and sports clubs that have made a significant impact on the town and its people. Lorraine and Gwen’s recognition reflected their tireless efforts in ensuring residents felt valued, engaged, and supported in their daily lives.

Mandi Short, Home Manager at Miranda House Care Home, expressed her immense pride in her colleagues, stating, “Lorraine and Gwen truly embody the spirit of care and dedication.
