This week, Oaklands House Care Centre came alive with colour, creativity, and the wonderful scent of fresh flowers as our residents enjoyed a delightful flower arranging activity.
While traditional floral design suggests an order—foliage first, focal flowers next, and fillers last—our residents embraced their individuality, letting their creativity lead the way. The results were nothing short of breathtaking, with arrangements so stunning they could easily grace a wedding or special celebration!
The activity wasn’t just about arranging flowers; it was a time for connection and joy. As residents selected their favourite blooms and crafted their unique displays, the room buzzed with laughter, heartfelt stories, and the support of friends working together. It was a therapeutic and calming experience that brought everyone closer, reminding us all of the beauty in both nature and community.
A huge well done to our talented residents—you’ve truly brightened Oaklands House with your gorgeous creations! Your floral masterpieces are as radiant as the smiles they brought to everyone’s faces.
Stay tuned for more creative adventures at Oaklands House Care Centre!
