Rectory House Nursing Home in Sompting marked Mother’s Day with a warm and joyful afternoon tea, bringing together residents and their loved ones to celebrate the special occasion.
The whole team played a part in making the day memorable. The hospitality team prepared homemade scones and a selection of sweet treats, while the wellbeing team transformed the space with thoughtful decorations. Residents also got involved, baking some delicious cakes the day before which were enjoyed by all.
Over a cuppa and homemade cake, everyone has a great time chatting away and reminiscing of precious family memories, with residents sharing memories of their own mothers. It was a lovely day that brought everyone together in celebration of the mothers, grandmothers and special women who mean so much to the Rectory House community.
