At Rectory House Nursing Home in Sompting, Nutrition and Hydration Week was all about learning how to stay healthy, hydrated, and nourished in a fun way. The team focused on educating residents about the benefits of good nutrition and hydration, while making the experience enjoyable for everyone.
Residents took part in jelly-tasting, bringing back fond childhood memories while learning about how jelly is actually a great hydrating snack. The community also joined in on the fun with Sompting Community Church enjoying a chat and some delicious food and drinks with residents. Later in the week, residents had a chance to create their own fruit salads, encouraging them to incorporate more fresh, healthy ingredients into their diets.
Nutrition and Hydration Week was a fun and educational event, showing everyone how simple, tasty choices can help improve health and wellbeing.
