Jonny Hollis, head chef at Riverside Place has been shortlisted under the Chef category at the prestigious awards.
The Great British Care Awards acknowledge the dedication of care service providers and celebrate their outstanding contributions to the social care sector.
Jonny shared his excitement at being nominated and said: “I am deeply honoured to be recognised for my work at Riverside Place. This nomination is a testament to the incredible teamwork and dedication we have in our kitchen.
“It is a great pleasure to cook healthy meals for the people living in our community and gives me great joy to see them enjoy their mealtimes.”
In his five years at Riverside Place, Jonny has gone from being a second chef in a small team to serving almost 60 residents as a head chef.
Jonny is passionate about creating individualised meal experiences for the residents at Riverside Place with a focus on variety, sustainability, and ensuring that the residents’ nutritional and medical needs are properly met.

The winners of the East of England regionals of the Great British Care Awards will be announced at a ceremony in Milton Keynes on Friday, 3rd November.
