Love, Laughter & Music at Riverside Place!
At Riverside Place, they believe in creating moments of joy and connection for their residents, and the recent Valentine’s celebration was no exception! With love in the air, talented chef Johnny and his partner Nikki volunteered to put on a special performance, filling the home with the sounds of classic love songs. Their heartfelt singing brought smiles, laughter, and even a few happy tears as residents joined in the fun.
The event was particularly special as it encouraged not only their regular attendees to take part, but also residents who don’t usually venture from their rooms. Drawn by the occasion and the chance to see their favourite chef in action, the room was soon filled with an enthusiastic audience, all eager to enjoy the entertainment.
John cheered, “More, more—this is fantastic!”, Val C declared it a “10 out of 10!”, and Barbara W called it “a lovely surprise.” Moments like these remind us of the power of music and community in bringing people together.
