With the season changing, it’s the ideal opportunity to get out into the garden. At Aria Care, we know teamwork is key, which is why we introduced our Spring into Summer initiative this May, embracing a ‘One Team Approach.’ We understand the importance of creating a lasting first impression, so we worked together to ensure our homes were ready for summer.
Both the team and those ‘green-fingered’ residents at Scoonie House Care Home are extremely proud of their home and thoroughly enjoyed getting involved in our Aria in Bloom activity.
Our team worked very hard with the help from our residents and family members, planting beautiful flowers into our flower beds and into a colourful selection of pots and planters. We also cleaned up our garden furniture and benches to make our outside space look even more amazing.
Our wonderful chef made some delicious cakes for everyone that helped on the day. These were gratefully received and helped to keep everyone fuelled for the day activities.
We would like to thank our wonderful volunteers, family members and friends and Kelly Howell our Chief People Officer for helping us on our Aria in Bloom day.
Each year, Aria in Bloom will bring the whole company together to help prepare our homes for the warmer months. It will create beautiful outdoor spaces where our residents can unwind and enjoy the company of their visitors.
