Last week, the team at Southlands Place Care Home in Bexhill-on-Sea held their annual Valentine’s Day quiz.
Joined by their friends and families, the residents got into teams for a chance to win a lovely Valentine’s Day hamper filled with a teddy, sweets, chocolates, and many more treats. This year’s quiz rounds included literature, films and musicals, general knowledge, famous kisses, and a connections round.
Wellbeing Coordinator Nikki hosted the quiz, while Alex prepared tasty drinks and served food, including the kitchen’s famous cheese straws and vanilla cupcakes with sprinkles.
The winning team consisted of resident Peter and his friends, who kindly shared their chocolates and sweets with everyone.
Nikki said, “Everyone said they had such a good time. Resident Kath’s family really enjoyed their first event with us at Southlands.”
