Steep House Nursing Home Turns Pink in Support of Breast Cancer Awareness

We’re thrilled to share the highlights of our recent garden party at Steep House Nursing Home! The weather was kind to us, and with the rain holding off, we enjoyed a delightful afternoon outdoors, filled with sunshine, laughter, and cherished moments spent with residents, families, friends, and staff.

The event was a true celebration of togetherness, with live performances adding to the joy and energy of the day. Music filled the air, and it wasn’t long before both residents and staff took to the dance floor, showcasing their moves and creating a lively, heartwarming atmosphere that will be remembered for years to come.

We were honoured to welcome Petersfield’s Deputy Mayor, Lesley Farrow, who graciously opened and closed the event, lending a touch of prestige to the occasion. Her presence was deeply appreciated and added to the sense of community and celebration.

A big thank you goes out to the local businesses and families who generously contributed fantastic raffle prizes, which helped make the day even more exciting. We’re also incredibly grateful to Bedales School for their kind support in providing tables, ensuring the event ran smoothly and comfortably for all.

Of course, none of this would have been possible without the dedication and enthusiasm of our wonderful staff, who worked tirelessly to organise and host the party. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to this special day, including the friends and families who came along to celebrate with us.

We’re already looking forward to our next event and to creating more memorable moments like these, where the Steep House community comes together to share joy and laughter.
