The residents at Stowford House in Abingdon have been getting creative with a range of arts and crafts at the home to mark special days this month including taking the time to make valentine’s cards for their loved ones, it was lovely to see their joy as they crafted their heartfelt designs and reflected whilst sharing memories. The creations didn’t end there as they marked Teddy Bear Day on the 10th February, where teddies were shared and themed designs were colourfully created to mark this day as the residents shared their memories of their childhood teddies, bringing comfort and happiness to their hearts, the perfect mix of creativity, love and cosy moments for all.
The arts and crafts sessions in our home are very popular with our residents as it gives them the opportunity to express their creative side, whilst getting the chance to relax and reminisce about the memories it evokes, with a lot of laughter and chatting as everyone solcialises together and shares their final masterpieces for all to see.
