The Residents and team at Stowford House in Abingdon had a creative and reflective day on Saturday to mark International Women’s Day and celebrate all the wonderful women in their community. Arts and crafts is popular amongst the residents as they get to show their creative side so the residents began by painting and colouring pictures of famous women, then everyone got involved as they discussed each figure, reflecting on their roles as role models and the impact they continue to have on society today.
The conversation sparked meaningful memories and thoughts, with everyone taking the opportunity to share their own personal reflections about the day and what it means to them.
